Convenience Fees for Recurring Membership Payments

Article Contents: This article outlines how to set up and apply convenience fees for membership payments made via credit or debit card. It also clarifies that ACH payments are exempt from these fees.

Step-By-Step: 

Step 1: Navigate to Settings, then select Membership Settings from the left-hand-side menu.



Step 2: Select Charge Convenience Fee For Membership Payments to True.



Step 3:
 Set the percentage of the convenience fee to apply to credit and debit card payments. Click Submit.

Step 4: Check the box's for the fee to apply to Credit/Debit Cards.


Note: The convenience fee does not apply to ACH payments. It only applies to credit and debit card transactions.

Additionally, these convenience fees will only apply for online payments and recurring charges. The fees will NOT be applied when charging through the point of sale.
