Article Content: This article covers the use of the GL Transactions section, which allows users to enter General Journal entries, view entries available for posting, modify or delete unposted entries, and post completed transactions.
Navigate to GL transactions under General Ledger:
To view or modify entered transactions click on the Edit icon next to Journal ID:
The Journal ID is an auto incrementing value, this cannot be changed.
You will be able to edit the transaction date, source, reference and accounts/amounts:
Once you have made all necessary changes, select “Save & Close” or “Post”.
If you select post, the entry will automatically post and you will not be able to further review the entry or
make any changes. A posting register will display, you can save or print this register.
