General Ledger Transaction Edit

It helps verify accuracy and identify any errors, and can be run as many times as needed prior to final posting.


To process the General Journal Transaction Edit Report, follow these simple procedures:



1) Select Ledger transaction Edit from the GL reports menu.

2) Select the option to Sort By:
The default is Transaction Date. This reviews the journal entries by date entered.
The Source Code option reviews the journal entries in entry order. 

3) Select the filter option for Transactions:
The default is All Transactions.
The Specific User Code allows reviewing of All Transactions for a Specific User.
The Specific Source Code reviews All Transactions for a Specific Source Code. 

4) Select Print option: Check mark if you wish to Print Column headers on first page only.

5) Run Report. The report will open in a new window. You will be able to print or export.
