Financial Text allows you to store predefined text blocks that can be inserted into financial statements. These text entries help standardize footnotes, disclaimers, headers, and other narrative sections within reports.
Step-By-Step
Step 1: Navigate to System Setup → Report Setup → Financial Text.
This screen displays a list of all existing text entries that can be used throughout financial reports.
Step 2: To add a new text entry, select New.
You can now:

Enter a Text ID and Description

Type or paste the text content into the provided field

Format the text as needed, depending on system options
After entering the information, click Save & Close.
Step 3: To edit an existing text entry, select the entry from the list.

Once adjustments are complete, select Save & Close.
Step 4: To configure the Consolidate tab:
Navigate to the Consolidate tab within the Financial Text screen.
Select the companies or entities where this text should appear in consolidated reports.
Checkmark multiple companies if you want the text applied across all selected entities.
Review the text entry for accuracy and consistency for consolidated reporting.
Click Save & Close to apply the text entry to the selected consolidated reports.
Step 5: All configuration is done within a single General tab, where you define:

Step 6: Financial Text entries can be inserted into Financial Statements or Financial Packages to maintain consistent wording across all reports, reducing manual retyping and ensuring accuracy.
