Mass and Multiple Membership Adjustment

Article Contents: This Article Provides Step-By-Step Instructions On How To Use The Membership Tool In The Guests Module To Perform A Mass Membership Adjustment And A Multiple Membership Adjustment.

Mass Adjustment has the option to "select all" when searching by classes of members. However, Multiple Adjustment you will select by the individual and a list will be created for your view as members are selected. Please note that with either option you will be able to search by class, member name, or membership ID.
Step-By-Step:

Step 1:  Click on the Guest module, and then select the Members tab from the left-side menu.

Step 2: Click on Membership Tools. Here you will have the option to select either Mass Membership Adjustment or Multiple Membership Adjustment

Step 3: After selecting one of the options, a pop-up will appear. Here you will select either a Credit or a Debit. A credit will subtract from the members balance and a debit will add to it. Then enter the amount, followed by optional selections such as description, chart of account, and vendor. Click Next.

Step 4: Select (check box next to name or class) which members you would like to make an adjustment. You can search by name, membership ID, or class.

Mass Adjustment: You can only add names from the list selected. Once you select Search again, you will lose any names that you previously selected. If you are looking to search by name and check individuals, please use the Multiple adjustment option.
Ex. You search for Bob Segal and check his name, then you enter the name Charles Green and click search. You will then lose the selected name of Bob Segal by clicking the search option again. When using Mass Adjustment, you will either start checking names from your list, select all, or search by class. However, once you search by class, you will then only be able to select members in that class, or use the select all function.

Multiple Adjustment: Here you can select individuals and no names will be lost as you select. A list will be created as you select members and you can search as many times as you'd like. However, please note that there is not a Select All option.

Step 4: Select Apply.

You can then view your adjustments in the Membership Adjustment Report.
